block 1
Block 1 - Residential, co-working space and Hostel
Dedicated to youth and young volunteer training, the reason why we need to set up this block is to provide a fundamental space for local or traveller to have a short term to mid-long term staying.
The rooftop is public use for all event, as the building is highly social and publicise.
Further down to the residential units are mainly for the local citizen or youth for owning a
private studio but having a social space. The unit is suitable for all and design can easily
modify to accommodate for wheelchair use, all path and floor are disable-friendly. The
decorative is subject to them to fit their own needs. 1F is directly linked through three
blocks and the roof garden is the gathering place for all.
Hostel unit floor is of great social for the community, collaboration and event. open to the
24hours library and the courtyard to the cafe and the daycare centre. The blocks are all of a mini-community within this neighbourhood.
However, to open up to the public are the idea that brings in the diversity from local to global through the Share and learns section. The open kitchen area sharing with the co-working space, which allows conversation from creative thinker to teacher and caretaker volunteer.
